we are floralkin

Built on a beautiful convergence of generosity and intentionality, Floralkin is a digital storytelling platform for floral professionals focused exclusively on community, culture, and shared experiences.

Floralkin was dreamed up by Tiffany Weinbender, Austin wedding florist (@idamayesfloristry), during the global Coronavirus pandemic as a means to both provide an outlet for the sharing of stories during this unprecedented time and continue the work of promoting community over competition by providing a different style of resource that encourages true relationship with one another.

The articles within floralkin are contributed by numerous floral industry professionals of all experience levels. Every floral professional starts somewhere. Every business has a beginning, a middle and an end. While the end results of our business endeavors may look drastically different, our beginnings and all the inbetween hold an abundance of commonality. It’s here on the common ground that we find solidarity with one another. Floralkin tells these stories, the stories of our floral community, the stories that bring us together.
