Bella by Sara — FLORALKIN

As a little girl, I was always using my creativity and imagination to bring new and exciting ideas to life by seeing life through creative and artistic eyes. I started with a background in Interior Design in my native city of Lima, Peru before finding my creative passion in the event industry where I gained extensive experience by owning an event planning and design business “Sara's Creations”.

I started my career here with a home decor business “Kiara’s Design Imports”. I consulted with homeowners to help them with the interior design and home décor which included floral designs. After few years of experience in event planning and Interior design, I found that my absolute favorite aspect of creating events was floral design. I was determined to expand my knowledge base by obtaining a certification in floral design as well as wedding planning and event design through Preston Bailey and The Wedding Planning Institute. By combining unmatched attention to detail with being skilled in many aspects of the event industry, I was able to execute ideas and make them a reality for my clients.

I expanded my brand to include, Bella by Sara, a floral design company in 2009 with hopes of fulfilling others with my passion for beauty. Bella by Sara was the beginning a beautiful new chapter of life! Design runs through my veins. The world through my eyes is filled with beauty and grandeur. Every client that has made me a part of their event team makes me a part of their family. I love the excitement that my clients feel as their event becomes a reality. Anyone who knows me knows that nothing makes me happier than making dreams come true for my brides and clients. While others see the world in black and white, I'm here to show people all the wonderful possibilities of textures and colors!

We opened a new studio location in Dripping Springs that is spacious and is conveniently located right between Austin’s popular event destinations: the Hill Country and downtown Austin. In a similar fashion to my business, I also started evolving as a floral artist and event professional. As I spread my wings in this new chapter of luxury floral design, statement pieces were now my specialty. I had the privilege to attend the Fleurology Inc. Luxury Floral and Event Design Symposium held in Houston at McGovern Centennial Gardens. Globally celebrated designers Preston Bailey and David Beahm led the workshops and trained attendees in the art of luxury floral design. The Fleurology Symposium was an intensive training that provided an empowering advanced education in floral design and luxury event detailing. It is widely recognized for its standard of excellence. This rigorous training combined with a passion for floral design and experience in the event industry has supported my expansion into the luxury market. Through various workshops, I have been able to home-in and provide only the best quality work for my clients!

I have always been drawn to different colors and textures. I absolutely love looking to see what different colors, metals, shapes, or textures that I can create. These seemingly simple elements spark so much creativity in me. I can't help but feel an itch to grab flowers and begin designing right then and there. These elements inspire me to take something classic and make it new, vibrant and full of life. With a colorful perspective, I imagine all the wonderful possibilities we can design together. Being a floral designer isn't my job, it's my PASSION!
